Advice and information

Our skilled advice and information workers provide advice and information on a wide range of areas, including:

  • welfare benefits
  • Irish passports and birth certificates
  • pensions, including Irish pensions
  • social housing and housing benefit
  • social services
  • health and social care
  • debts, finances and bailiffs

Our staff can also advocate on your behalf, for example writing letters for you or coming with you to medical assessments and tribunals.

You can get help at one of our offices, either by coming any time during drop in or by phoning and making an appointment.

If you do come during drop in, please don’t be disappointed if the worker you normally see is unavailable.

If it’s an emergency, you can phone 0161 205 9105 between 1 pm and 4.30 pm, when someone should be able to help you.
