NICE CAKES

As the Covid-19 pandemic and many of our services users became isolated because of the importance of shielding and self isolation Irish Community Care Manchester wanted to reach out to our community when it was in need, and did so through our Cáca Deas project.
Cáca Deas is Irish for "nice cakes" and our volunteers delivered parcels, of not only nice cakes but other comforts, to our most vulnerable service users in order to combat the impact that the corona virus had on their mental health and help reconnect them to a community that values them dearly
